OPERATION AGAPE
Â
Operation Agape is the benevolence arm of our church.

Agape is a Greek word referring to the highest form of love and charity. Within Christianity, agape is considered to be the love originating from God to mankind. As Christians we are challenged to reach out to others and share God's love. Community Congregational Church has a "big" heart.

This ministry gives each of us the opportunity to make a difference in the life of others. Here are some of the organizations in our community to which we contribute in a "hands on" and "financial" way. Examples are Interfaith Souper Bowl, Marion Senior Services, Stirrups N Strides Therapeutic Riding Center, Arnette House, Hospice, Salvation Army, Interfaith Services, Brother's Keeper, Dunnellon Boys and Girls Club, Community with a Heart and Veterans of the Cross Christmas Fund.

Our church is also "home" for two Hispanic congregations that reach out to the Spanish speaking members of our community.
